JULY 27 - THE GLENMOORE PLANNING COMMISSION IS PREPARED TO RECOMMEND THE NEW/CHANGED ORDINANCE THAT WILL ALLOW A 600 ACRE COMMERCIAL COMPLEX & GOLF COURSE TO BE BUILT ON THE LAND ADJOINING MARSH CREEK STATE PARK.
THE SENSITIVE AQUASHEAD BETWEEN THE BRANDYWINE & MARSH CREEK IS IN DANGER. THIS WILL HAVE AN ADVERSE EFFECT ON THE WATER QUALITY AND OUR ONLY LOCAL NATURAL RESOURCE FOR FISHING.
THE RUN OFF OF THIS COMPLEX WILL CAUSE MAJOR DAMAGE TO THE MARSH CREEK ECO-SYSTEM!!!

Dear Sir,
An urgent matter right in your own community requires your attention.
A Chester County developer is presently pressing our township to change ordinances to allow a 600 acre golf/spa/hotel resort on property directly adjacent to Marsh Creek State Park and including portions of the Struble Trail. This property is located directly on the Brandywine River! We need your support and intervention to protect our watershed, fish and wildlife, and prevent sprawl! This project is an investment vehicle designed to make the developer and his investors rich at the expense of residents' health and safety as far downriver as Delaware. It will overburden the infrastructures of the Township, County, and State Parks.
Please speak for the people of this County and help us protect the River and residents.
Sincerely,
(NAME AND ADDRESS)
