You guys sure did not have great or even good or even half decent weather yesterday for your first tourney. I was going to come on over to your weigh in but I chickened out. I hope you all had a safe and productive day on the water. How did it go?

Doc, We all wanted to fish, but based on the forecast for thunderstorms and 2-3" of rain, the majority of us decided it was more important to live another day to fish. We are not just a fair weather fishermen bass club, but most of us have at least a few brain cells left to make an educated decision about when to fish (well most of us ;D ). It sure does hurt to have all of that anticipation build up over the last 5 months for the first tourney of the year only to have mother nature give ya a swift kick in the gut! Oh well, we have next weekend. Hope to see some or your club members at the open next week!  |

We are planning on being there, weather permitting. Glad to hear that you guys made a rational decision about yesterday. Better safe and live to fish another day....
