I'm new to this site, and I would like to say thanks to those responsible for the upkeep. My friends and I fish MCL a lot, and really like the lake. We usually do pretty well there, throughout the year. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a contour map of the lake. I've never seen one, but would like to get my hands on one if they are available somewhere.

Hey Shanko,
Try Gordon's Sport Supply in Eagle. They should have them in stock.

Is that close to the lake? My friends and I are planning on fishing MCL this coming Saturday and Sunday. We will probably launch pretty early from the Lyndell launch. Will they be open early in the morning? I don't really live close enough to make a trip down there during the week. Also, does anyone have any good tips for this time of year? I usually fish fairly shallow, but I'm thinking that I may have to go a bit deeper to get some good bites with the way the weather has been. Thanks!

Gordon's is located very close to the lake. It is located on Little Conestoga Rd, just off of Rt 100 in Eagle. They open at 7am on both Saturday and Sunday. The store is very close to the Main Park ramp (oppisite side from Lyndell). This ramp is gated and I believe it doesn't open until first light (I think).
As far as the tips go Marsh Creek is experiencing a very slow year. I have not personally been over there since the summer so I can not give you any help with the tips on what is going on over there right now, but with fall approaching the bass should be moving with the bait fish up into the coves. My bass club has a small club tournament there on Sunday and I will probably concentrate on a few main points at first and then head back into the coves.
Hope this helps.
