Nick,
I witnessed the "landing" of that fish and it was quite a comical scene. I was about 100 yards from him and lets just say that I probably had enough time to run over there (with my TM) and net the fish for him. Actually I thought that was what he was waiting for. Then I thought I was going to have to run over there and perform CPR on him because I thought he was going to have a heart attack! ;D
The lesson of the day is: Make sure you reel the fish in close enough before you attempt to net it (especially a 7 1/2 lb hawg)! ;D
But then again Larry, you could have just swung it in the boat......oh that's right, that doesn't work with those bigger fish! REMEMBER?
You could always buy back your extended handle net from me if you need to! I will cut you a sweet deal!

Nick,
I think I may have mislead you out on the water that morning. It was a rattle trap fish and not a buzzbait. My apologies, I was probably still so excited I didn't know what I was saying at the time. How did you do in the District tournament?
